Y’ALL! One week until I arrive at training camp in Georgia and I’m pumped!

The last few months have been quite a journey. From prayerfully considering the trip, to getting accepted, to support raising, and now to packing (I really need to start!!). Through each step of this journey the Lord has been stretching and shaping me and the trip hasn’t even started yet. I am in awe of how He works and His faithfulness time and time again.

Support Raising- I am fully funded- GOD IS GOOD! At the start of this process, the thought of having to raise money for the trip was even more daunting than traveling to a different country. What I thought was going to be one of the worst parts of the trip has been so sweet and fruitful.

A few things the Lord showed me during support raising:

  1. This is not about me. It is ALL for Him and His glory. Takes a lot of the pressure off.

  2. Prayer is powerful and freeing

  3. I’m so blessed to have been raised in a strong Christian community

  4. People are so generous

  5. Blessed to be a blessing- All I have is God’s- My life is not my own. Am I living that way? Am I eager to give?

A BIG thanks to all of you who have supported me financially and/or in prayer! Seriously could not do this without you. I am so thankful that God has placed each of you in my life and that He has put on your hearts an eagerness to give and to see the Kingdom of God grow.

Prayer Points

  1. Peace and rest for my team members and myself as we get packed up and say our goodbyes

  2. Good health and that nobody gets COVID so that we are able to leave on schedule

  3. Safe travels to Georgia and that our team would be unified in our goal to glorify Christ

  4. Family and friends of those who are leaving

Psalm 100

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.

Worship the Lord with gladness;

come before Him with joyful songs.

Know that the Lord is God.

It is He who made us, and we are His;

we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving

And His courts with praise;

give thanks to Him and praise His name.

For the Lord is good and His love endures forever;

His faithfulness continues through all generations.”

All the praise to our good and gracious Father as I embark on this journey! I’ll do my best to keep you all updated on here throughout my trip. Lots of love!    -Libbie
